As of January 1, 2010, HUD requires that lenders and mortgage brokers provide their clients with a “new and improved” standard Good Faith Estimate (GFE) and HUD-1 Settlement Statement.

A result of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) signed into law on February 17, 2009

Recently both Arkansas and New Mexico have changed to a Deed of Trust. Please be sure to contact your settlement agents with regards to the Trustee information.
